I don’t have money, but i have time, a college education, and a passion to bring this medical plant to those who need it.
How can i be of real help?

    1. Tom McCain

Thanks for asking, Ellen. You can start by sitting down and writing a letter to your Senator and Representative, expressing your support for medical cannabis in Georgia and asking for theirs. You can also engage your customers about the issue. #whenwearetalkingwearewinning!

I am a strong proponent of the leagalization of cannabis. Since I am a therapist and have worked in the North Georgia area for the last 15 years, I know that the legalization will have a dramatic positive impact on our states out of control opiate crisis. I just joined and proud to be a part of this movement that has been a long time comming and please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks, Jeff. Glad to have you on board. The first, best thing you can do is contact your State Representative and Senator and express your support for more sensible marijuana laws here in Georgia.

I am a retired school teacher from The Atlanta area. I own a condo in Midtown and a home in St Marys. During the 70’s I worked for the Governors Office in PA and one of my tasks was to organize a lobbying effort to reschedule mj for medicinal purposes, held public hearings, worked with state and national NORML officials and organized cancer and glaucoma patients to speak their truth to state leaders. Although we were not successful in rescheduling, we started a movement which continues to this day. Now retired, I again have the time to commit to this effort in GA. What can I do to help?

First off I just love the message board you guys have going now which wasn’t here the last time I came to this site.

I have been a GA based Cannabis activist for many years now and have sent out untold amounts of letters to our law makers as well as signing untold petitions in the name of legalizing our beloved Cannabis plant but the one thing I’ve learned in doing all this is that our law makers don’t feel one bit threatened by the few hand fulls of advocates we have here in Georgia that are actually willing to voice our opinions on the subject.

In my humble opinion it’s going to take each and every person in this state who believes in Cannabis law reform to start getting vocal and expressing their opinions but the silent majority will never do this unless they feel safe and secure in doing so.

There has got to be a way we can get the wheels of change rolling stronger than ever before in history and I truly believe that it’s going to take more physical boots on the ground handing out educational literature, conducting rallies and starting petitions…Education and awareness is the key!

It’s going to take an “in your face” approach from ALL of us for our law makers to realize that they can get on board with our program or we will vote them out and vote in the people who will.

    Thanks guys,

    420 Warrior
