Peachtree NORML holds our monthly meeting from 7pm-9pm at Manuel's Tavern in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

 

About Author

Kimberly Smith came to Peachtree NORML from Tennessee NORML in 2013. She has worked as a cannabis activist for several years, and is also a patient who uses cannabis to treat her migraines, chronic pain, and asthma. As a victim of domestic violence involving alcohol as a child and an adult, she also fights for a safer option to alcohol for responsible adults.

    I recently moved from Oakland, CA where I worked In the Cannabis industry. I owned my own dispensary and worked hard advocating for safe and legal access. I am so excited to join this chapter and help remove the stigma associated with Cannabis as a medicinal alternative, and provide the empirical studies that show the scientific data and proof around the benefits. Unfortunately, I have pre existing conditions that will not allow me to attend the upcoming meeting in Atlanta, but I am more than happy to assist in anyway I can from home. However, once we get past this pandemic I look forward to being more present.
