Georgia Justice Project Announce First Friday education series
Aug 3 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Peachtree NORML works with many of the top organizations in Georgia working to reform our criminal justice system.
Three words- “I Smell Marijuana” brings many into the criminal justice system for the first time.  1 in 3 children will be arrested  before they are 23.  As we work to stop the influx by Ending Prohibition and harm reduction strategies, others are working with formerly incarcerated to help break the barriers a criminal record means to their future, others with the spouses and children of incarcerated parents, some through the courts taking cases to jury.  It takes coalitions to do vast reform on such a large scale.  Please share this effort and find your spot to help. If you need help reach out to groups like Georgia Justice and others they are out there working in our communities.

To that end Georgia Justice  is beginning a new education program that may be of interest to many of us.  Please be aware that you need to let them know that you are coming.  You must pre-register. Please contact Christi to reserve your spot.

There are several organizations and groups pushing the envelope in Atlanta on April 20, 2017. Please reach out to us at the office 706-525-9970 and we can discuss it further.

I was wanting to know more about joining the Peachtree branch, or may be even starting a northern Ga chapter. My community is willing to raise awareness on the issue, and we’re here to fight for the cause! If anyone would contact me, literally anyone I would definitely appreciate it !
