A friend turned me onto marijuana

Hi, I’m 19 and have been battling with bipolar disorder since I was 14, pills sometimes help and the counseling only goes so far till I want to fight.  When I turned 18 my family threw me a  birthday party and of course there was marijuana, a friend brought some.  At first I hesitated, then I decided to try it and unbelievably it helped so much with the changing of my moods.  I am chill and happy all day everyday. Unfortunately it’s not legal so I have to be cautious.  A prescription would do me a lot better.  I believe it should be legalized.
